We prepared a complete program for guests in a heavens like Soča Valley in Slovenia - on the Italian border - to discover probably the most beautiful river in Europe - and much more!
From the arrival to the nearby airport (in Slovenia or North East Italy) - we will provide everything you need for unforgettable holidays!
We will arrange transfer from the airport (Ljubljana, Venice, Treviso or Trieste), overnights in great accommodation near the Soča Lake with meals and trips - every day to another interesting destination. So you will feel like locals do!

A trip per day
SATURDAY
Meet the history of the place
After breakfast, we will go on foot to visit the small town of Most na Soči and learn about its thousands years of history. We will walk through remains of the prehistoric, bronze and Iron Age, the Roman Empire, right up to the present day and - also in the chatting with the locals - learn about the rich heritage of the place. Lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, we will board a large canoe (it can take up to 12 passengers) with an experienced boatmen and explore the lake.
SUNDAY
Along the Bohinj railway
After breakfast, we will board - at the Most na Soči Raillway Station - on the the morning train along the Bohinj Railway Line, built in 1906. During the ride, we will show our guests the numerous engineering achievements, including the 7-kilometre-long Bohinj Tunnel. We will get off at Bled, the jewel of the Alps, and take a walk along the lakeside.

Return with the afternoon train
MONDAY
On the trails of World War I
After breakfast, depart to Tolmin. Transfer to the Church of the Holy Spirit on Javorca. Visit this most beautiful monument of peace in the Soča Valley from the First World War. Return to Tolmin.

Lunch in a local restaurant.
Walk to the German charnel house, where German soldiers who died on the Soča Front are buried. Return in the evening.
TUESDAY
After breakfast we will take the morning train from Most na Soči railway station to Nova Gorica. At Solkan, we will observe from the train window the largest stone bridge in the world.
Visit of the museum dedicated to the border at Nova Gorica railway station. Then, with stories from a time when the border still shaped our lives, we will walk a few houndred meters to Gorizia in Italy.
Lunch in Italy.
Return with the afternoon train.
WEDENSDAY
After breakfast, board a big canoe with an experienced boatmen for a tasting trip to discover the flavours of local Tolminec cheese. We'll spread our tablecloths on the most beautiful beaches - and
taste selected cheeses from the surrounding mountains.

Lunch at a local restaurant.
Return in the evening.
THURSDAY
After breakfast, we will trek to the nearby Mengore Hill, known as the impregnable fortress of the First World War.
(The trekking to this destination is not too demanding even for the beginners).

In the afternoon, we will take a canoe trip to Tolmin and observe the wild life on the shores of the Soča river.
The trekking is not to demanding even for not skilled participants.
FRIDAY
Visit to the Tolmin Gorges at the Triglav National Park
After breakfast, visit of the Tolmin gorges in the Triglav National Park.
The water is crystal clear, cold with stunning turquoise color.
This place is unique and deserves your attention just by admiring its peacefulness, listening to the sound of the water, enjoying the natural beauty and breathing pure air.

Pricing
You can decide for the lenght of your stay! You can decide for example for only two days or whole week staying here. You choose the starting and finishing dates. We can organise the tours all over the year.
The price per day per person is 240 EUR and includes:
- Overnight with breakfast and dinner (in a structure or in a near-by restaurant) in a very good structure in the Tolmin / Most na Soči region (we will send you the specifications in the booking stage). The price is per person in a double room. 30 % supplement for person in a single room.- All the services in program as described for each day: entrance fees, tickets for canoe and train trips, our English speaking guide and lunch (starter, main dish with the side dish, dessert) in a restaurant are included in the price.- Children under 12 years 25 % discount in the room with their parents.
Drinks and what not described in program are not included in the price.
Transport from and to the airports of Ljubljana, Treviso, Trieste or Venezia Marco polo: 100 EUR per ride in each direction - (one ride for max 4 people - but we can provide more transports).
